Hands down my favorite frozen item at Trader Joe’s, humble cabbage is transformed into the most delicious dish. So simple, yet so hard to replicate! I especially love to make chili onion cabbage noodles with it!

Impressively, Trader Joe’s currently offers three flavors of riced cauliflower:

  • Plain organic riced cauliflower, a simple ingredient to add to dishes or in place of white rice
  • Spicy Mexican-style Riced Cauliflower, with tomatoes, bell peppers, and jalapeño…this one is really quite spicy, so I like to mix in some plain tofu or other veggies like kale or broccoli to help temper the heat.
  • Trader Joe’s Riced Cauliflower Stir Fry is a simple, Asian-flavored option with veggies, ginger, and sesame oil. A tasty side to countless Asian main dishes.

For a quick fix, this frozen tempura cauliflower hits the spot! Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sauce is a bit too sweet IMO so consider serving it on the side.

This frozen vegetable item makes a great meal base. The Korean-flavored stir fry is on the mild side, so I like to add some more Gochugang paste and some coconut aminos. Throw in some tofu for a complete meal…I also like to add in rice or noodles.
